How we can do both, how we can optimize how our skin looks and functions in a way that also optimize our overall health. I think this is kind of the main purpose of One Skin as a company and that's why we call ourselves a skin longevity company and not just like, you know, a beauty company. Because for us it's always like health first, like we want to optimize your skin health and then we also want to optimize your overall health.

    Erin Holt:

Welcome to the Funk'tional Nutrition podcast, spelled with a K because we do things a little differently around here. I'm your host, Erin Holt and I've got 15 years of clinical experience as a functional nutritionist and mindset coach creating a new model that I call intuitive functional medicine where we combine root cause medicine with the innate intelligence of your body. This is where science meets self trust. Your body already knows how to heal and this show is going to show you how. If you're looking for new ways of thinking about your health, be sure to follow and share with a friend because you never know whose life you might change.

    Erin Holt:

Hey friends. Today I'm talking to Carolina Rice Oliveira, Ph.D. an advocate for healthy aging. She's also the CEO and co-founder of One Skin, which has been my best kept secret for the past six months. A lot of you guys have been asking what I've been doing differently for my skin and this is it. I've been pretty much exclusively using One Skin product. So for those of you who want to support the health of your skin.

Maybe you're starting to think about anti aging like myself, but you're not quite into the injectable scene or even if you are, today is definitely a show to listen to. I really want to bring alternative options to you if you are thinking about this and not really knowing where to start. I always only bring stuff to you that I actively use and love as always. And this is something that I've really, really, really been loving for the past six months or so. So I wanted to bring it to the show and Carolina is truly just such a joy. When I interview company founders, I never know what I'm walking into. I never know what I'm going to get. And she immediately put me at ease.

She's just so kind and absolutely radiates joy and warmth and is all smiles. So she was a delight to talk to. I want to tell you a little bit more. Earning her doctorate in immunology, Carolina relocated from Brazil to Silicon Valley to pursue her goal of using science to prevent age related diseases. Under her leadership, One Skin has made significant strides toward this mission, starting with their proprietary OS1 peptide, which is the first peptide scientifically proven to reverse skin's biological age. And you're going to learn all, all about that today. And you guys know the drill. Skin is an inside job. We actually talk about that in this convo. So if you are struggling with your skin, we do want to hit it from both angles. We want to hit it from the outside in and the inside out.

If you need help with that, I recommend applying to work with my team. This is exactly what we do. You can use the link in our show notes. We work with all type of skin conditions from eczema to acne to rosacea to psoriasis. So we can help you out from that angle. And if you're interested in trying One Skin for yourself, my guess is you're going to be very interested. After you listen to this. Visit OneSkin.Co/Funk and use code Funk; F-U-N-K for 15% off your first purchase. Okay, here is the conversation with Carolina.

Okay, welcome to the show, Carolina. I'm so excited to talk all things skin peptides and anti aging with you today. So thank you so much for being here.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Thanks for having me, Erin. I'm so excited for this conversation as well.

    Erin Holt:

I'd love to just start off by bridging the gap a little bit. Why we're talking about skincare on a health show. Our audience are really health conscious people. That's why they're listening to a health show. I would say that health is a value of ours. It's not something that we're willing to compromise. And personally, 41 and definitely over the past year, maybe two years, I started to see signs of aging on my skin, on my face and I'm like, what the hell's going on here? It's not emotionally prepared. I do, I want to be very honest and transparent.

I do want to take action steps. I'm not obsessed with anti aging, but if I can stay looking younger longer, I'm going to do that. So I've really been expanding, exploring a lot of alternatives over the past year or so. I personally, this is a personal choice but I at this stage in the game, I'm not interested in anything invasive into me injectables. Botox feels invasive to me personally again at this stage. So that's what I mean by exploring other options. And that's where One Skin popped up. You gotta like shout out your marketing team here because they're doing a great job because it kept Popping up on my feed.

And one day, it's so funny, the timing of it. I went in and I filled my cart and I'm like, I'm going to go in, I'm going to get all the stuff. And then your company reached out to us that same week, and we're like, hey, would you ever be interested in trying this? Usually I say no to this, that stuff, honestly. But I was so interested in trying it that I did. And so it's been about six months. And what I will tell you is that people, you know, when I'm on Instagram and on video, people have been reaching out to me the past couple of months, asking me what I'm doing different so I can say that I'm six months out. I didn't just pick this stuff up yesterday. I've been actively using it for half a year and I've noticed a difference.

But other people have noticed a difference in my skin. So I know that our audience is searching for alternatives, which is really why I wanted to have a conversation with you today. So are you ready?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

I'm ready. I'm so excited. And I see a lot of things, you know, that I resonate with myself in terms of my interest being a scientist. And I'll focus on skin and aging. Why I see connection here with like this broader health interest.

    Erin Holt:

Well, I would really love to start there with your backstory and how you got into this field in the first place.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yeah, so I was always passionate about science since a young age. And I want to become a scientist because I saw that as a way to help people in some way to live, like, better healthier. And so initially I thought that I would be researching, you know, cancer or find a cure for a certain disease. And then eventually I did get my PhD in stem cell biology and tissue engineering. So one of the things that I got really good at is like growing human tissues in the lab. And one of those tissues was like human skin. So together with a few colleagues, we created this platform that will grow human tissues, human skins. And we were testing like, products, and eventually we were evaluating like safety and efficacy.

And eventually we saw that this anti aging market was like a massive but also very confusing industry because there are so much out there, so many crazy claims. And we decided to test do these products work and how we can validate that. So when we started testing these anti aging products, like the best selling, what we found was kind of shocking. A lot of them were not rejuvenating the skin. Some of them were causing toxicity, inflammation and potentially accelerating aging. And what we didn't find was a product that could reverse, you know, the biomarkers of aging, but also not cause any side effects, because you have today, like the retinols and the retinoic acids that are usually effective, but a lot of times they come with like this inflammation, redness. And when we test retinol in the lab, in the skin skins, we saw like genes associated with aging and inflammation going up. And I was using retinol at that time, I was like, oh, this was supposed to be anti aging, why those markers are going up? And so on the retinol front, I think what it's happening is that in this acute phase, when your skin is adapting, you know, those genes go up.

But if your skin eventually adapts to retinol, these genes could go down. And doesn't mean that it's like actually accelerating aging only if your skin cannot tolerate rate. But anyways, I can dive into how we actually found an opportunity to find something that would actually promote this skin rejuvenation without the side effects. And that's what, like, led me into research these new peptides and develop this product. Because we saw an opportunity to target aging from a different approach that all the products that were in the market, what we're using, and that would be more effective, no side effects, and really focusing on optimizing the skin health so your skin will look better as a consequence, but never like compromising your skin health to make you look better in the first place.

    Erin Holt:

So I actually didn't know that about retinol. I hear a lot about retinol. I tend toward rosacea, so it's not a great option for me. So I've just kind of ruled it out. But I always felt like I was missing out on this, like, really great compound that so many people are using. But I didn't realize that there could be some negative side effects with it.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

And a lot of people really try over and over. And if your skin doesn't tolerate, don't push it, because it's your skin telling you that's not for you. And so when we test the retinol, it does show that the skin is like proving the cell renew. Usually what we see in the lab is the upper layers of the skin, they are coming out and you are growing a newer, fresher skin. But in this process, there is potential inflammation and redness. When we were testing these products, my team was researching so much about aging. And what we found is that we as scientists now understand better what is actually Driving aging underneath at the cellular level. None of these products that were in the market were utilizing this new approach to target aging.

And to us, one of the key drivers of skin aging is this accumulation of aging cells, also called the zombie cells, which I know that your audience is familiar with, but this, you know, senescent cells or zombie cells, they are basically old cells that are damaged, they stop dividing. And in the skin, what happens is that they start secreting these inflammatory signals that will lead to collagen degradation, would lead to the skin cells around to become zombie as well. So they don't produce collagen. And that will compromise your skin barrier. And these will lead to fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots. And so there was no product in the market that was targeting the accumulation of senescent cells in the skin. And what we saw in the lab is that when we can reduce the number of these senescent cells in the skin, we allow the healthy cells to replicate. They produce more collagen.

So you can bring the skin to a younger state that functions and behaves like younger skin, again, in a very targeted way, because again, you are only targeting the senescence, the aging cells. You are not disturbing the healthy cells.

    Erin Holt:

So do we have those senescent cells, those zombie cells in our skin?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

In our skin, in our scalp, which, you know, is another new strategy that we. A scalp serum, because that's also associated with hair thinning and hair loss. And in scalp is interesting because, I mean, I have, you know, this genetic female baldness in my family and I was looking for solutions for myself. And all of these solutions are they're like drug based or, you know, based on like a lot of potential hormonal affect, my hormones, and I'm still in my fertility reproductive phase. I didn't want any of this. And I want like a very clean and safe solution that would target like one of the root mechanisms of hair thinning. And so there was again, no product targeting the accumulation of this zombie cells in the hair follicles, which is associated with hair thinning. And so we also develop a product that's now targeting hair thinning and hair loss based on this peptide that we found that targets senescent cells.

    Erin Holt:

Let's talk sunscreen it is the question you guys always ask me about in my current fave is hands down one skins SPF 30 plus. It's formulated with non nano zinc oxide and it goes on really well. No pasty face. I personally love the OS 1 tinted face SPF. I like to wear it instead of makeup during the summer. Now most SPFs just block UV rays, but these do more. They neutralize free radicals four times better than other anti aging SPFs. And the OS1 peptide is scientifically proven to prevent the accumulation of dysfunctional cells that cause your skin to age faster. So you're basically blocking UV while rejuvenating your skin at the cellular level. Make sure your skin is ready for summer with one skin scientifically proven SPFs. Visit OneSkin Co Funk for your first purchase. That is OneSkin.Co/Funk

    Erin Holt:

Yeah, let's talk more about that peptide. Peptides are so hot right now. I feel like everybody's talking about them. So before we get into OS1 specifically, can you just give our audience a rundown on what peptides are? I think they're like baked into the vernacular now, but I don't know if everyone actually knows what they are.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Peptides are so buzzy right now and basically essentially they are these little pieces of a protein. They are the building blocks of a protein. So they are basically a chain of amino acids. They can function as messengers. They can induce some signals in the cells to behave in a certain way. When we decided to look for a new molecule that would target senescent cells in the skin, we screened over 900 peptides over 5 years of research and we were looking for a peptide that could spec reduce senescent cells in the skin. So we found OS1 after like several rounds of testing. And what OS1 does, it basically enters the cells, activates like DNA repair pathways so those cells will be more Resilient to damage.

They won't like accumulate damage in a way that they would become zombie. So we can maintain them like healthy, functional for longer. And also what this peptide does, it shuts off inflammation in the skin. I know that we're here all hunting inflammation. We also hunt the inflammation in the skin as well. And so it shuts off like the inflammation pathways in the skin. And when you have low inflammation, your own immune system can also clear out those senescent cells that are already there. So in this way, after treating the skins with the peptide, we can see up to 40% reduction in senescent cells in the skin.

We increase the collagen production with decrease aging related genes. And then we can see this stronger skin, better, healthier skin, which in the end looks better as well. The other cool interest factor about these peptides is that we could measure the biological age of the skin. And we saw a reduction in the age of the skin, skin in 2.5 years. And that's super exciting because it's the first molecule validated to actually reduce the age of the skin in a very, as I said, safe and effective way. And this is publishing in scientific journals you have in our website, but all, you know, validated by third parties, not only us saying that.

    Erin Holt:

So when you're applying this through cream, it's basically absorbing into your skin and that's how it's working?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yes. So when you apply the, we have like different products, but like the face topical supplement is like the main product that you should apply on your whole face. You can apply neck, hands, the peptide will absorb it to the epidermal dermal layer. So basically we'll go deeper in the skin and we'll work from the inside out, like repairing those damaged cells, reduce inflammation and bringing your skin to that younger, healthier, functional state.

    Erin Holt:

How does that translate into what people see when they're looking in the mirror?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

So in the first few weeks, you see a red improvement in overall like texture, smoothness and hydration. Because once you repair your skin barrier, you improve like the water retention, you decrease water loss. And so this will help with hydration. Our peptide also helps with the production of hyaluronic acid, which is like the molecule that holds in water. And so with like 6 weeks to 12 weeks, you start seeing improvement in firmness, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles. It can take up to 12 weeks. But we see those results significant in our clinical studies showing that the peptide and the product itself will help, like minimizing those fine lines and wrinkles by Improving collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.

    Erin Holt:

And it seems like, based on what you said, some of these effects can compound over time. So if like the research is saying, after two and a half years, it's like almost reversing the age of your skin, that's pretty awesome.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yeah. So actually this two and a half years reversal, it's a data that we found by treating skins for five days in the lab. So this is like a lab experiment, but it is a proof of concept to show that in certain conditions we can already see an age reversal in the skin. We are doing these studies in humans, and in humans so far, after one year of using the product, we saw a reduction on average of 3.3 years. So instead of aging 12 months, we were able to see a reduction in 3.3 years. These are, you know, early data because this human, you know, long term studies, they are more complicated. We want to repeat with like a bigger cohort. But again, these are proof of concepts that it is possible to reverse the biological age of the skin, make your skin younger, biologically speaking, with the right approach.

    Erin Holt:

When do you think this is something that we should like, what age should we be thinking about this? We were just in Mexico for my cousin wedding and she's 30. We were all out in the sun, obviously in Mexico, and I looked at her chest and I was like, you got to get sunscreen on your chest. And like, this is a message from the future. Nobody told me that this is the part of my body that was going to age the fastest. Like, you got to take care of your, protect your neck, take care of your skin. So like, at what age should we be thinking about taking care of our skin?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

I mean, from a sun protection, since, like we're born. Right. I think, you know, the use of sunscreens is, I think the first line of defense that we all should implement in our lives. And mainly if you're like exposed in the sun, like for a long time, and right now we have like the mineral sunscreens that are safe and they shouldn't cause any. You know, some people are worried about the chemicals and screens that can get into our bloodstream. So the mineral ones, you can still have like a very nice texture. Our mineral sunscreens also include the peptides, include a lot of antioxidants. So you should start like protecting your skin as early as possible.

And by treating your skin with like products like ours, we see data that shows that we start accumulating senescent cells around our 20s. And so it's always easier to prevent the accumulation of senescent cells than eliminated them down the line. So if you can start with like products that are very good for your skin that have no side effects earlier in your twin is like 25. I think it's a good age. And obviously you know, at any age you can still see effects. But as I said from a preventative standpoint you will be able to maintain your skin like healthy looking younger for longer if you start earlier. But I think protecting from sunburn is kind of the number one rule. Like don't.

I don't let anyone around me sunburn. I always have a sunscreen and I'm like. Because we know how bad it can be and it still has the risk of like obviously skin cancer and so forth.

    Erin Holt:

So I live in New England and we get like two months of sun, like that's pretty much it, you know. So we chase the sun when it comes out. New England. I'm not avoiding the sun, let's just put it it that way. But I did use your sunscreen 1 skin sunscreen all summer and I absolutely love it. I do find that sunscreen is a little bit tricky to find. I do not use chemicals sunscreens and I haven't for like 10, 15 years. So finding some of the more mineral based ones that don't make you look white and pasting.

My daughter's 11 now and she's like can we not use the white sunscreen anymore? I look like a baby. So she loves it too.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

We, we really were thriving with One Skin sunscreen this year and we have the tinted ones. I don't know if you tried the tinted.

    Erin Holt:

I did. I love it for my face and she was sneaking that right away from me too. So we got two and now she has one and she brings it to camp and she shares it with all of her friends.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

    I love that.

    Erin Holt:

So I'm not a huge fan of the term anti aging because aging is a privilege and something to celebrate. However, I do want to continue to look and feel good as I age, which is why I take take Qualytic, the first of its kind formula designed to help your body naturally eliminate senescent cells. These are a big culprit behind that middle aged feeling. They're also known as zombie cells and when they accumulate they can lead to less energy, slower workout recovery, joint discomfort, and basically just feeling old. Qualious analytic is something you only have to take two days a month. I line them up for myself and my husband so we can both age better at the cellular level. Feeling more youthful and energized. They make the most incredible products and the one that I've been using and loving for the past six months is their red light light face mask. The past few years, my rosacea and the redness on my face has gotten worse. Now you guys know the deal. Skin is an inside job. Our gut health, what we're eating really impacts the health of our skin. So we do have to support our skin internally, but it can also be supported externally as well. And that's where the Bon Charge red light face mask has come in for me. I use it about three to four times a week, 10 minutes a pop. It's super easy. I do it first thing in the morning and I have noticed, noticed less redness and even a more even skin tone. Other things that the red light mask can help with are fine lines and wrinkles, acne, eczema, sore jaw and migraines. Red light therapy is awesome. It's hugely researched. Erin Holt:

Let's say somebody's listening to this and they're not 25 and maybe they're 45 or 50. Is it possible to reverse some of the, I don't know how to describe it, like aging process for your skin. Can we reverse some of the damage that has already been done them?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

It's definitely possible. And I think this experiment that we show that they seen, you know, reversed its age in 2.5 years is an example of that. It's a proof of that. I think in humans, obviously this will take a lot longer than five days. But with consistent use in a very, you know, the right routine, you can definitely see that improvement and age reverse. So and I think in the end here, obviously we want to improve our appearance, but the main goal of also reversing the age of your skin is recovering that strength, that resilience, that functional state that's important to maintain the skin working well for us. Right. If you think that your skin is your largest organ and as your skin is aging, your skin also deteriorates, accumulates senescent cells throughout your skin.

And we actually have data showing that if we can repair the skin barrier and reduce the load of senescent cells in the skin throughout our body, we can decrease the inflammation internally in our blood, because that accumulation of senescent cells that is producing inflammation in your skin eventually impacts our internal health. And so we did do a clinical study with elderly participants that they use like the body lotion for three months and we collect their blood at baseline and at three months and we saw decreasing interlocut 8 in a significant level in their blood, showing that just by treating your skin, we are reducing inflammation internally.

    Erin Holt:

Oh my gosh, I better start using the body lotion more. Now. That's wild because oftentimes I'll say skin is an inside job first and foremost. And so, and I know that you agree with the sentiment. So it's like, like we treat our skin from the inside out. You're also saying it works outside in as well.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yeah, it's a two way process and I think both are important. I totally agree with you. The internal is super important, but the external also has an impact in your internal health. And to me, that's what like made me so excited about bridging skin with this overall broader conversation about health and longevity. Because until now, most people are just like thinking of their skin as from an esthetic standpoint. And you can do a lot of your skin that can make you look good, but you can compromise your skin health. You can put a lot of like bad ingredients that can compromise your internal health. So how we can do both, how we can optimize how our skin looks and functions in a way that also optimize our overall health.

I think this is kind of the main purpose of one skin as a company. And that's why we call ourselves a skin longevity company and not just like, you know, a beauty big company. Because for us it's always like health first. Like we want to optimize your skin health and then we also want to optimize your overall health. And so I think at any age you can see the impact. And again, it's a kind of a consistent process. And you, as you said, it compounds over time. So we do studies like for 6 months and 12 months and we do See the improvement getting better, you know, even in your fine lines and wrinkles and firmness, this continues to improve over time.

    Erin Holt:

So I like how you refer to yourself as a longevity company and you see yourself that way. I'm curious because, you know, there's a lot of talk about longevity and anti aging. Are there any misconceptions or myths that you hear about aging that you would like to put to rest and bust here?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

The basic one is that aging is not something that we needed to fear, is something that we can optimize and we can. I feel myself today, you know, my 39 years feeling better than when I was 30, you know, because I think I have optimized so many things in my diet, my lifestyle. I think I'm reverse aging backwards. And that's very exciting. I can track in so many ways and my whoop tells me this and my blood, I think also from a skin standpoint, I think a lot of times less is more. So being very mindful of what you're putting your skin, don't over exfoliate or irritate. You know, your skin can get over reactive if you're putting too many different actives and if you are removing your, your barrier that's supposed to be there to protect your skin in the first place. First place.

So I'm not against like the acids and the retinols, but you need to just to be mindful how to use them. And what I do myself, I usually apply the one skin first because I feel that I have a layer of protection. And then I apply the retinol on top because I feel that it's not gonna cause like the peeling, the redness if I do this way while if I do the retinol first, a lot of times I can see the peeling coming out. And so I think there are ways that you can have a, like a very simple and effective routine that works again to make you look better, but without overcomplicating, without having like 10 different steps and really understanding what your skin needs and how you can be effective again in managing aging in a way that it's not compromising your skin function and health in the long term.

    Erin Holt:

First of all, I want to say that it makes so much more sense why it's called a topical supplement now versus like a moisturizer, because you are putting a supplement on your face that is going to be absorbed through your skin. So I really like that. But back to what you were saying, like we don't need to overdo unless is more I want to just highlight, since we're talking about skin. I am a mother to an 11 year old daughter, like I said, and right now she is getting hit so hard with skin care this skin care that she wants to go to Sephora. She wants me to take her to look for all the different treats for her skin. And I'm sitting here with the knowledge base that I have being like, splash some water on your face and call it a day. I try to educate her as much as I can and then sometimes it's like, all right, you gotta let them make their own mistakes and come to their own conclusions. I just got her like a very basic cleanser and moisturizer.

But she does it a lot and she's always like poking and prodding at her skin and then all of a sudden she had this like little breakout on her skin and she's like, what's going on? I'm like, you're doing too much. So case in point, mom was right. So I want to say that to any parents that might be listening to this that are navigating the same stuff, like, please listen to Carolina. In terms of like, less is more. We don't want to be putting all this stuff on our kiddos face. I know it's tricky. I'm navigating it in real time. But like, this is really, really important stuff.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

And mainly I've seen, yeah, a lot of like the glycolic acid. Don't let them like put those, all of those ass at a young face. They don't need that. Their skin like is strong, it's healthy. And they're gonna already like start to compromise their barrier with all of those assets too young and their skin will start to be overreactive again. Why we're having so many people with sensitive skin. Right. We're like over treating our skin in so many ways.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

And so I agree with you. Like a gentle cleanser and like a very simple moisturizer should be okay. But even this could be right if they don't need could be too much. So yeah, maybe we can get them to read some papers and say, hey.

    Erin:

I know it's like I am so unprepared for parenting a preteen and a teen. Like, I don't know what is fighting.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Against TikTok is it's a hard.

    Erin:

I do want to ask because we work with a lot of people that have skin issues, whether that's acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and I'm sure there's going to be questions Is one skin safe for those conditions?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yeah, one skin is very gentle. We are also certified by the National Eczema association, so we are completely safe for people sensitive and eczema skin with psoriasis as well. It's not that we're going to be able to help potentially, you know, ameliorate a little bit, but it's not a solution for psoriasis or like this, more like disease conditions. But it is gentle and safe for rosacea. And obviously still everyone should, you know, test because people can still react in different ways even to very basic ingredients that are supposed to be safe, like, you know, hyaluronic acid or niacinamide, which are included in our products. We do have the certification from the National Eczema association, so it is certified to be safe for people with eczema and sensitive skin.

    Erin:

And there's no fragrance, which might be my favorite thing about them all. It's so hard to find products without fragrance. There's nothing, no fragrance. Yeah.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

The only, you know, smell is going to come from the natural oils that we use from the Amazon rainforest. But we don't add any artificial fragrance.

    Erin:

I love it. I can't say enough about it. So thank you so much for coming on. All I could say about it was like, it's really good, it works. I think you should try it out. So I appreciate you coming and giving us the actual science and the rationale behind why it's so effective. I think it's a great product. I think the company is so cool.

I do just like the entrepreneur in me wants to just ask you like a little bit of follow up cues, but I think it's very interesting that you saw the gap in the market and you're like, there's a hole here. And now I'm going to go to the research to figure out how to backfill that whole. I think that that's really interesting. Is that the scientist in you or is that the entrepreneur in you?

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

I think it's both. It's a little bit of both. Science, it's always what drive us like to do anything that we do. But I think seeing the opportunity and wanting to take agency, wanted to like find a solution myself, not waiting for it and, and see that I could actually contribute to again impact so many lives with our research. I think in the end that's what drive, you know, myself and my team, my co founders, to bring the science and improve people's lives in some way. And I think, you know, from all of our testimonials from our customers, our community. We're so happy to see that we are actually doing that. And we continue to do with, like, as the science evolves, we are continuing to bring better solutions to our customers, to our community.

And that's what, like, you know, drive us to wake up every day and do our best.

    Erin:

Such good stuff. Thank you so much. I can't wait to see what you guys do next. I'm excited to get my hands on some of that scalp stuff next.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

I really want you to try this scalp. The clinical data is so impressive. And again, your community, you know, people that are going through menopause and postpartum, like, there's so much that affect our hair and hair loss and shedding and it's a beautiful, like, product safe. And the results are super exciting. So definitely want to get your hands on it too.

    Erin

Definitely. And everyone listening, you want to get your hands on one skin because it really works and it's wonderful. So thank you so much for your time for being here.

    Carolina Reis Oliveira:

Yeah, thanks for having me, Erin. So fun.
