If you’re looking for an easy side dish this holiday season, I’ve got you covered. These garlic green beans are done in less than 10 minutes and are so flavorful!
Save this recipe for your upcoming holiday gatherings!
You’ll need:
1 pound of green beans, trimmed
8 cloves of garlic, minced
1 Tbsp of ghee, butter, or olive oil
1/4 tsp salt (more to taste)
For the dressing:
¼ cup olive oil
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
½ tsp salt, more to taste
2 cloves of garlic, minced
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions:
Add water to a saucepan with a steamer insert, place it on the stove over medium-high heat, and bring it to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, add green beans to the steamer and cover. Cook for 4-5 minutes, until the green beans are tender.
While the beans are cooking, peel and mince the garlic.
Transfer the green beans to a bowl and top with the ghee or butter. The heat from the green beans will melt the ghee and help the seasoning stick.
Add the minced garlic and salt, tossing well to combine.
If needed, add more salt to taste and enjoy!
